Good news for the woman in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The state government announced the date for the implementation of free bus scheme<\/strong> in the state<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per the latest update the government is all set to launch the scheme on 15th August. AP Transport minister Ram Prasad Reddy has revealed the date on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Already we have similar schemes being implemented in the neighbouring states of Karnataka and Telangana. Now AP will be the third state in south India launching free bus travel in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Salient features of Free Bus Scheme Andhra Pradesh [Eligibility]<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Under this scheme, women and transgender in the state can travel free of cost in state RTC buses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Free travel is permitted in APSRTC Palle Velugu, express non AC buses, Metro non ac buses<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Women , Girls and transgenders are eligible for this scheme<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– This scheme is not applicable for AC, Non AC super luxury , Star liner sleeper and other AC services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Any local ID proof can be shown by women passengers while travelling to claim the benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A complete set of guidelines shall be released within a month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
