The ‘Praja palana’ program launched by the state government received a big response on the first day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

People lined up everywhere from early in the morning at the application receiving centers set up through sabhas held in villages, towns and cities across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applications have been received for ‘Abhayahastam’ guarantee schemes Mahalakshmi, Rythu Bharosa, Gruha jyoti, Cheyutha and Indiramma indlu. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials also received petitions on white papers from those who did not have ration cards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Total, 7,46,414 applications were received across the state on Thursday. Chief Secretary Shanti kumari revealed that 2,88,711 applications were received in rural areas and 4,57,703 in urban areas including GHMC. The public administration program which started across the state on Thursday will continue till January 6. Sabhas will be organized at all villages, wards and divisions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
