Government of Telangana has received orders in line to this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Women can travel in the below services for free of cost<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Palle Velugu Buses<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Express Buses<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; City Ordinary<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Metro Express<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Free_bus_travel_for_women_in_Telangana_eligibility\"><\/span>Free bus travel for women in Telangana eligibility<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All Woman who are residents of Telangana can travel free of cost in the above mentioned TSRTC services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Local Woman , Girl Children and Transgenders are eligible for this free bus travel scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However beneficiaries will have to produce <strong>local address proof<\/strong> for this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Free bus for ladies in telangana rules:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Any state or central govt issued local address proof which determines  nativity of Telangana can be shown by women while traveling within the state.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Woman can travel any distance within the boundaries of the state.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For inter state travel in TSRTC buses , there will be no ticket within the borders of the state and once the bus crosses the border ticket has to be taken for remaining distance in the other state.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Woman can travel free of cost in all TSRTC Ordinary, Palle velugu, TSRTC Express buses, City ordinary , Metro buses. However this is not applicable while travelling in other bus services like AC or Airport buses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Example of local address proofs:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aadhar with local address<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voter with local address<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ration card by Telangana govt<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nativity certificate or Passport, etc<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The above documents should be on beneficiary name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Govt said it would issue zero tickets to the woman while traveling. In the first phase the government is running this scheme across all 8524  bus services in the state and has mentioned that it would consider increasing the number of services based on the
