Still It is the largest public sector bank with a 23% market share by assets and a 25% share of the total loan and deposits market. <br \/><br \/>It is also the fifth largest employer in India with nearly 2,50,000 employees. Senior Citizens are eligible for rate of interest of 7.60%.
