Affiliated with the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP), he was re-elected for a second term in 2019. Beyond his political role, Reddy holds a PhD in Development of Andhra Pradesh and actively participates in religious traditions, even walking 6km to present offerings to Goddess Padmavati as part of the Kartheeka Brahmotsavams festival.
