PM Kisan Scheme

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a Central Sector scheme with 100% funding from Government of India. The Scheme was launched on 24th February 2019. Under the Scheme an income support of Rs.6000/- per year is provided to all farmer families across the country in three equal installments of Rs.2000/- each every four months. The entire responsibility of identification of beneficiary farmer families rests with the State / UT Governments.The fund is directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. Farmers covered under the Exclusion Criteria of the Operational Guidelines are not eligible for the benefit of the Scheme.

PM KIsan Eligibility:

- Farmer must be resident of India.
- 6000 Rupees shall be provided to all farmers in the country irrespective of their land size
- Ineligibility: Families having one or more state/central govt employee, Income tax payers, Institutional land holders, retired pensioners with more than 10K pension are not eligible for this scheme.

How to Apply or Register for PM Kisan

Farmers can apply for PM Kisan in the below ways

Option 1:
Farmers can apply offline by approaching village or concerned agricultural officers or village Patwaris, revenue officials or other designated officers / agencies and submit their required details to them.

Option 2
Farmers can approach CSC (Common Services Centers) and register for PM Kisan
