TSPSC Group 1 Preliminary Exam which was cancelled and re conducted on June 11th has been cancelled by TS High court. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
In the awake of paper leakage incidents, now TSPSC has announced cancellation of Group 1 along with AE and DAO exams <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Group 1 Prelims New date <\/strong>shall be announced shortly. But if Exam has to be conducted again it will only happen in 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Candidates who filed petition in High court have mentioned that biometric details were not captured during the examination for few candidates. They also alleged that certain OMR sheets were issues without hall ticket details. High court upon investing the matter gave orders to TSPSC to re conduct the exam and the exam held on June 11th stands cancelled. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is known fact that last year held TSPSC group 1 was cancelled by board due to paper leakage row. This is the second time exam is cancelled in last one year. In paper leakage row main accused Praveen, who was working as an Assistant Section Officer in Telangana TSPSC, had been arrested post leaking more than 5 TSPSC papers. Rajashekar and Renuka were others involved in this. As corrective measures TSPSC cancelled the exam and re held in June. But this time due to operational failures and violation of process for the second consecutive term the exam remains cancelled. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/span>What\u2019s Next?<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
It is understood from various reports that TSPSC shall move to division bench for the appeal and to reverse the decision taken by the high court. But chances are very low for the reversal of the decision. If exam stands cancelled then conducting exam is not possible this year due to upcoming election code. Newly formed government and board may re conduct the examination in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
