Sriya Reddy<\/strong> is an Indian film actress who mainly performed in Tamil and Telugu films. She has also worked as an anchor in television serials and previously worked as a video Jockey. She made her debut in the film industry after winning the VJ hunt by SS Music and later started hosting TV shows like Connect and Phonetastic. She made a maiden debut in the film Appudaappuda but unfortunately, the film failed to gain momentum in theatres. However, she appeared in 2004\u2019s Black in which she played the role of a village woman completely contrary to her main role in real life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sriya Reddy has also played the role of a rich girl in an English film \u201919 Revolutions\u2019. Chicago-based Shridhar Reddy directed the film. The film did quite well in the U.S. She made her debut in Samurai in 2002 and later in Black, Thimiru and Kanchivaram are probably the best of her works. She has also appeared in Priyadarshan artistic film Kanchivaram, which was well appreciated by the audience and achieved good ratings. The film was later honoured with National film awards while Sriya received a nomination for Film Fare Awards and Vijay Awards. The actress is currently (2015) filming two Tamil films Andaava Kaanom and Sila Samayangalil, which will be in the theatres in the year 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
