To be considered for the scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Students successful in NMMSS Exam 2025<\/strong>\u00a0will apply online for\u00a0<strong>Fresh Registration<\/strong>\u00a0of Class\u00a0<strong>9th Scholarship<\/strong>\u00a0on NSP Portal for the academic session 2025-26.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Students successful in NMMSS exam 2024<\/strong>\u00a0will apply for renewal of class 10th scholarship on NSP portal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Students successful in NMMSS exam 2023<\/strong>\u00a0will apply for renewal of class 11th scholarship on NSP portal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Students successful in NMMSS exam 2022<\/strong>\u00a0will apply for renewal of class 12th scholarship on NSP portal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students studying in 8th\u00a0Class in\u00a0Government, Local body and Govt. aided\u00a0Schools are eligible for this Scheme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Parental income from all sources should\u00a0not exceed than\u00a0<strong>Rs. 3, 50,000\/- per annum<\/strong>.\u00a0Parental Income Certificate issued by Chandigarh Administration has to be attached with the application form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Note that students enrolled in \u2018Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVS)\u2019 and \u2018Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV)\u2019 are not eligible for scholarships through NMMS program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For continuation of scholarship in higher secondary school, the candidate must score at least 60% marks in the class 10 board exam.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To be eligible to continue receiving the scholarship in class 12, the recipient must have cleared class 11 in their first attempt with a minimum score of 55% or its equivalent. Under the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship, the scholarship amount is paid in one go by the State Bank of India (SBI). This amount is transferred directly into the accounts of the students through the Public Financial Management System (PFMS). The number of scholarships allotted to each state and union territory is based on the enrollment of students in classes 7 and 8 and their population in the respective states.
