It is the seventh largest state in India by area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Karnataka state was formed on : 1st November 1956<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let us learn about the state symbols of Karnataka state.<br><br>1. <strong>State Emblem &#8211; Gandaberunda<\/strong>:<br>\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; Gandaberunda is a two-headed mythical bird with an unimaginable strength.<br>\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; It is often considered a symbol of Karnataka&#8217;s strength and power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> The crest depicts the Lion Capital of Ashoka, on a blue circular abacus with a blue frieze carrying sculptures in high relief of a galloping horse on the left, a Dharmachakra in centre, a bull on the right, and the outlines of Dharma chakras on the extreme left and right as part of Sarnath&#8217;s Ashoka Pillar.
