However, a State Government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the State TET<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>According to CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws, prescribing the minimum qualifications for teachers to teach various subjects in Classes I to VIII in the schools Affiliated to CBSE stands amended to that extent and it shall be mandatory that the teachers appointed hereinafter i.e. 6th March, 2012 to teach classes I to VIII in the Schools affiliated to the CBSE shall qualify\/pass the Central Teacher Eligibility Test or Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), conducted by the appropriate Central\/ State Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for this purpose<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Important_dates_for_CTET_2023\"><\/span><strong>Important dates for CTET 2023<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>Starting date for Online application<\/td><td>03-11-2023<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Last Date for Online application<\/td><td>23-11-2023<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Date of Examination<\/td><td>21-01-2024<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Eligibility_for_CTET_2023\"><\/span><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><strong> for CTET 2023<\/strong><strong><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must pass Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least a 50% mark or appear in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the rules and regulations of NCTE \/4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must pass Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least a 50% mark or appear in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education\/4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) \/B.A\/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed\/B.Sc.Ed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates having at least 45% marks in Graduation or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates must have passed or appeared in the final year of Graduation or a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Structure_and_Content_of_CTET\"><\/span>Structure and Content of CTET<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be most appropriate.
